Geary’s Angling Services are based in the picturesque sea town of Cobh in County Cork. Cobh is just 20mins from Cork Airport and 10mins from Ringaskiddy Ferry Port.

Skipper Donie Geary welcomes beginners and has a range of tackle and equipment for hire. Tuition is free and family outings for mackerel fishing and evening party bookings are welcome.
Geary Angling Services offer shark, wreck and reef fishing. Skipper Donie has many years experience and has made many friends with both novice and experienced anglers.
The fishing grounds off the Cork coast can produce a wide variety of species. Donie specialises in targeting species and is always on hand to give advice and explain tactics. It is important to Donie that all his angling clients enjoy a successful fishing trip.
During the summer months (mid June - late September), Blue Shark patrol the waters, chasing after the shoals of mackerel close to shore. These magnificent fish are hard fighting and can reach weights of 70, 80 and even over 100 pounds!! Donie operates a strict catch and release policy with all Blues. Remember, a photograph can make a great trophy!

Mary Geary runs the local tackle shop in Cobh. Here they stock all the tackle and equipment that any sea angler might need. Rods, reels, clothing, bait and not forgetting the all important advice on how to get the best results while fishing.
